Donald describes himself as a spirit-filled, computational physicist that taught college level physics and mathematics. He also made a significant contribution to High-Temperature superconductivity, as well as holding a position on the American team that, assembled the detector cells for CERN and other colliders.
Some people have the misconception that all physicists are atheists, this is inappropriate. Donald strongly believes in the existence of God; that derives from an escalation of knowledge stemming from intuition, observation, and scientific logic. Moreover, an acceptance containing both scientific and spiritualism knowledge are necessary to appreciate our Universe.
Currently, Donald has stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to the lymph nodes, liver, and lungs. The cancer is treatable and stable. However, for the remainder of his life, he will have biweekly chemo treatments. For that reason, he is unable to work; consequently, he will spend his time researching physics most profound unanswered questions.
